For travel I prefer the 2.5" where no external power is required and MUCH
lighter than the 3.5" one especially with case and power adapter. Actually,
I only use 2.5" drives for backup, I have six 250MB at home for different
purposes (also a 60MB and 80MB from the ancient time). I feel more safe with
2.5" dirves, I never seen one failure with them but at least three 3.5"
failure on four desktops at home.
