OK; I think I used Irfanview for the resizing, and almost certainly used its
capability to alter (reduce in this case) the file sizes so they were just not
too
big. Probably saved at 75% for the 900 pixel reductions.
Irfanview sharpen which I used at least once on every image can sometimes
go over the top.
Yes, I agree about what colour space, and my photofinisher told me last
time I was in there that I should convert my jpegs out of Adobe rgb.
Irfanview seems to use the Adobe version.
I agree that the apple shot is somewhat horrid, and not sharp either. It was
shot right into the sun. After about 10 attempts I did FINALLY get the whole
file uploaded.
In my opinion, the sharpness of the grapes leaves quite a bit to be desired.
All shots but one were taken with the 510; sometimes on tripod, sometimes
not.
