Vine maple is the tree of choice for the best slingshots. Very strong 
and the Y's are uniform. Surgical tubing of course after the inner tube 
rubber was "improved". For the rock pocket the tongue of an old boot. 
The glaciers have provided an abundance of suitable ammo.
