Sorry for the flip answer but I consider the xD card to be a customer
rip-off by Fuji and Olympus. If it wasn't there would have been no
reason to ask about 2GB limits. To save themselves money (not you) the
xD card eliminates the built-in drive controller found in all CF cards
and introduces unnecessary equipment and card compatibility constraints.
