It probably ought to be called a dragger, but boats around here
already have that one. I _think_ it's called a skidder because it
pulls a bunch of logs behind it, sometimes on a sled-kinda thing, more
often just bare logs being hauled. Up close the roll cage looks like
it will do the job, but I'm damned if I can see how you could roll
that thing, unless you got on too much slope.
The trucks that bring logs out of the woods are something to behold,
too. There's one a little farther down the road. I've been waiting for
them to start loading it before putting in an appearance. I recall
driving down the Oregon coast many years ago marveling at the size and
speed of trucks loaded with logs.
