The guy at the US border when we crossed over in '94 just said
'Citizenships', not even an interrogatory tone, just a flat 'Citizenships'.
I hadn't the faintest idea what he meant, I've crossed quite a few
borders and always recognised the local expression for 'passport', but
this was new. So I said 'Pardon?'
After a repeat of this he sent me over to the side building to be
interviewed by the 'other guy', the creepy one with eyes like lasers and
a cold manner to match.
I'd probably get shot these days.
