I want to fill the frame with the image of this 10 cent piece (dime ?) sitting
on my desk:
I can use my OM-1 with a 100mm Kiron, or I can use my E-510 with my ZD 50/2,
with either combination the distance from the 10 cent piece to the "sensor"
plane will be the same (allowing +/- for differences in lens construction,
internal focussing, etc.), and also the working distance will be very similar.
I want to take a 1:1 macro image of a 10 cent piece sitting on my desk:
The working distance for the E-510 ZD 50/2 combination will be about 1/2 that
of the OM-1 Kiron. The image of the coin won't quite fill the frame of the
OM-1 and the image of the entire coin probably won't fit in the E-510 frame.
