Was CH just downright unlucky in finding the next three E-520s to be as
unsatisfactory as the the first one he bought ?
I doubt it.
I suspect that the quality control bar has been lowered to such an extent
that users who are less knowledgeable and discriminating than CH is can be
sold an inferior product and then not be expected to complain afterwards.
If this was not the case the E-520 would have been revamped in short order.
As a sidebar issue, I got to handle an E-3 for the first time today.
Compared to the E-510, the E-3 felt like it was a Leica M3 or at least an
R6-2 ! Wow. I've owned a late model M3 since 1970 !
