I've just about had it with this obsession with high-ISO performance and the
common wisdom these days that ONLY a full-frame 35mm digital camera, such as
the D700 is capable of being used at higher ISO settings. Like any good
feisty, Irish descendant I couldn't leave this topic alone. So, out comes
arguably the worse-possible professional DSLR ever made when it comes to
high-ISO performance--the Olympus E-1.
Maybe they are right--you've got to spend $3000 USD on a brand new camera to
take pictures of holiday lights this year. But then again, maybe not.
Judge for yourself.
