The ruling is much more restrictive than that.  By upholding a lower 
court's decision it specifically targeted and overturned the Washington, 
DC law that disallowed ownership of a hand gun (in the home) and 
required that legally registered guns (rifles, shotguns) be kept 
unloaded and trigger locked.  It doesn't say anything about carrying 
concealed weapons outside the home.  It does however specifically state 
that individual gun ownership is a constitutional right not tied to 
membership in a militia... a question that has been begging since the 
second amendment was ratified in, IIRC, 1793.
