Winsor's statement is only partly incorrect. CR has rated the 2007
Camry V6 (not all Camry models) overall reliability as "fair" or "below
average". There is no CR reliability rating named "unacceptable".
You're right. CR has for many years rated most Toyota products in all
measurement areas and also overall as "very good" or "excellent".
Toyota has had such a good record for so many years that they have often
been recommending Toyota models without waiting for all the relevant
data. They admit that was a mistake and they are discontinuing the
practice.
