Ali,
Here's a shot with the 50mm f 1.8. Actual exposure was at f2.8 and it has
very shallow depth of field, very blurred background. My only objection to
it as a portrait lens is the rather harsh bokeh. This was shot on film in an
OM-4T.

28mm lenses have to much depth of field unless you are very close to your
subject. The 85mm f 2 and the 100mm f2.8 both have a lot nicer bokeh than
the 50mm f1.8 but on an E-series they become like a 170 and a 200mm focal
length which is probably too long for most portrait work :(
