Someone posed this question to me regarding an OM lens
in place of the E-series kit lenses:
"I am looking for a portrait lens that offers a
smaller depth of field as compared to the E300 kit
lenses. That way, I can do more with dof with
portraiture, as well as have a lens that functions in
lower light (without flash) as compared to the kit
lenses.
My thinking is that what I am looking for leads me
towards an OM 50mm lens, with a low f-stop, maybe 1.8
or something. Does that sound about right?"
I am thinking the Zuiko 50mm F1.4? or 28mm series!?
Not sure about use in low light tho.
