When I was much younger, my older brothers put me in one
of those angled-tub washing-machines and turned it on,
laughing for a bit as my arm came out the top windmilling
(both in itself, and because of the rotation) for the
off-switch, and then going for a swim for half an hour
before returning and freeing me.
...but that's probably unrelated; there was no light in it.
