A temporary solution might be to pick up a Tamron SP 90/2.8. It will
go 1:1 and is fairly light having a fair amount of plastic in it. They
are considered to be fairly good lenses.
The 85/2 is offered for sale fairly regularly on yaBe. Several people
buying lenses then re-selling them seem to be winning many/most of the
interesting yaBe auctions. Unfortunately changes in the way yaBe
reports sales history is going to make it harder to know who is
bidding.
