That's what killed our final 3 Epsons. Stylus color 800, C80 and C82.
Heads got so clogged that even after cleaning enough times to make ink
drip out of the bottom, atleast 2 colors stayed completely plugged. We
switched to canon pixma 6600 and 9000 (and also got away from "chipped"
ink tanks). The canon tanks (which are translucent) are really empty
when I change them.
