The HP 1100P I mentioned in my last post was fine in the summer but
would have major problems with clogging of the red jets (and only the
red ones) if it wasn't used for 2 or 3 days in the winter. I've been
using an inexpensive Epson C84 (which uses pigment inks) since then
because someone gave me a new one as a gift. I can't recall how long
I've had it but it's at least 18 months and maybe two years. It has
never had a clog.
