My brother had a client who told him a few years ago that his services
weren't needed any longer - they had just purchased digital cameras and
were going to do their own product shots.
They were back the next year.
Moral of the story: the camera is often the least important part of the
process. In product photography, proper lighting separates the men from
the boys.
