The S9000 finally needs a new head assembly. I wouldn't have a
clue as to why. ;) It won't be retiring any time soon as it is
used for generating posters and handouts. All of my pro-quality
output is currently being printed through Millerslab.
The new Canon pigment printers sure looks tempting, though. I
will need to look at all the costs involved before committing to
it. As I'm starting to sell megalarge art prints there is a
break-even point for "rolling your own". However, through
Millers, I get a lot of additional capabilities like mounting
and Linen. It takes a bit of an investment to correctly mount
mega prints. Also, it takes a lot of space--of which I'm going
to have very little. Millers FedEx's my prints anywhere in the
country.
