This brings to mind a conversation we had at work this morning.
The local Air Force Base beginning Saturday is hosting a Dissimilar
Aircraft Combat Training exercise. Craft from all over the southeast are
flying in this week including F-14, F-15, F-16, F-18 and A-10 to join up
with the C-17's stationed here. In addition to dogfights there will
simulated airdrops by the C-17's with F-15 coverage warding off F-18
"bad guys". The big question was would any of the F-22's make a surprise
appearance?
With any luck I may get the picture before you Walt.

No helicopter thump-thump-thump here yet, but the weekly first flights
of the F-22 Raptors from the four hills and one small mountain away
Lockheed plant seem to be getting louder and louder. I don't really
mind, though. Just wish I could get a good shot of one. Damn, they are
quick! I'm afraid if I park at the end of the Dobbins runway with the
big Tammy on a tripod, the Goony Squad will come rushing out after me.
I have a real fear of cattle prods, small rooms, and promises of night
flights to Gitmo, or to worse places.
