The 4550 (which I own) was the middle range machine with lots of expansion.
The 2400 (which I also own) is the entry level loss leader. No video card
slot; minimal expansion; cheaper, slower components.
Kind of like saying "my 20 year old Maserati runs rings around my 2 year old
