The GN measurements are calculated differently for each flash, you can't
compare them directly.
For the T-45: GN45 with an angle of coverage of 53deg horizontal, 74deg
vertical (equivalent to an OM 24mm lens)
For the FL-50: GN28 with an angle of coverage of 78deg horizontal, 61deg
vertical (equivalent to an E-system 12mm lens)
Since the FL-50 head has a built in zoom adapter, the GN50 is only achieved
at the tele end of 85mm. If the T-45 had a zoom head to adapt it to this
angle of coverage then the GN would be significantly higher than 45. After
using both flashes I'd say the T-45 is close to double the power of an FL-50.
Recycle time is also significantly faster on the T-45.
