This is a particular irritation for my cousin who writes picture rich
articles for a couple of magazines. The large publishing group who
prints these and many others have just issued a set of standardised
instructions for every one of the fifty or so magazines that they
publish which clearly show that they have no idea what this
resolution stuff all means. But then, printers were always like that.
The irony is that he's writing articles on Photoshop for digital
photography magazines and now has to comply with meaningless image
requirements! Hell he's annoyed (and they aren't listening!)
