If I remember my reading on the subject a while ago, it is virtually
impossible to poke a smooth, proper pinhole. the diy approach is to sand
the surface in a technique documented on pinhole sites which is
purported to produce a really good pinhole. The advantage of the
commercial ones is that they are drilled even more evenly by laser.
