As I was waiting for the guy to fill out the paperwork when I bought
my D100(E-1 was still just a two year old promise), I handled a
Pentax which had just come out and I almost cancelled the sale. I had
to quickly remind myself of the reasons for getting the D100. I
thought the Pentax was a sweet little camera and very easy to pick up
and take a few pictures without consulting a manual. Not hard at all.
It is a little bigger than the OM and about the same weight. I found
the Canons which are a little bigger to be more ergonomically
strange, but maybe that is just me.
