Must be nice to get that kind of mileage from a car that size. I have a
4-speed automatic Volkswagen Beetle with a 1.9L Turbodiesel. It gets
around 50 mpg on the highway, but probably closer to high 30's in town.
Of course, it's a pocket-sized vehicle, too. My commute is 130 miles
round trip, though, so highway mileage is most of what I experience. It
compares favorably to the Lincoln Navigators I see on the highway
getting 12 mpg, though. ;-)
