I have a very nice one (300 4.5 that is) for sale including case, UV + Pol
filters - bought in absolute mint condition a year ago and used only half a
dozen times since.
£200 sterling plus P+P, no question refund (less P+P) if not absolutely
delighted.
Anybody interested please contact me off list.

It is a very nice lens with good performance. I would recommend a 7mm or
14mm auto tube to increase close focus. If you are familiar with the 200
f/4, I think the 300mm is a step up on optical quality.

It's a very nice compromise between size and performance. It's pretty easy
to walk around carrying it and it's normally fast enough to easily focus.
When I want a big fast telephoto, I usually want something longer than
300mm. My zuiko 300/4.5 gets more use than my Tamron 300/2.8. For me a 300mm
is at the limits of hand holding. I will seldom attempt a hand held shot
without at least bracing against something. I shoot slow film.
