This is my favourite lens of all time. Many a happy hour was spent
taking sports photos with it. Even portraits of my kids worked well
with it. Very robust - many years ago a snapped camera strap sent my
OM2s to the ground with the 300mm lens nose first. A destroyed skylight
filter and a dint in the brass casing of the OM2s was the only damage,
The 300mm just kept on going without a worry - my heart stopped for at
least a minute.
I still have my OM gear as I can't quite bring myself to part with it
though I have migrated to EOS for reasons I'll not bore you with. I got
myself the OM to EOS adapter so I could still use my OM glass but
somehow it's not the same as using OMs.
