You would use a longer cord if you want the flashgun further from the camera than the length of the PBG2 - eg if you have the possibility of mounting the flashgun on a tripod close to the stage (maybe with a T20 TTL Connector), you can use a 5m cord to get an extra 5meters away from the flashgun. You might even be able to get 10meters away using a pair of cords and a TTL autoconnector. That gives flexibility as to angle of view/perspective, as well as the chance to get flash side lighting rather than on axis. -- Piers -----Original Message----- From: olympus-owner@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:olympus-owner@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ali Shah Sent: 13 November 2004 06:25 To: olympus@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: [OM] Re: Film recommendation --snip The PBG-2 is a very serious contraption...really amazing!! The PBG-2 is supplied with a "TTL cord"...I received a longer "TTL" cord with the T32. Which situations would you use the longer cord? --snip ============================================== List usage info: http://www.zuikoholic.com List nannies: olympusadmin@xxxxxxxxxx ============================================== |
