Guys...thanks for the info. From what I seen and read the Hoya HMC that I 
purchased should be fine. I have only experienced vignetting with a 
particular filter on my Minolta Di-7. Vignetting was my major 
concern...other than that...I seek to provide protection for my lenses 
against scratches.
