You are right, not very much oil either, fortunately there is no spread to
the aperture blades themselves. The assembly of the 50/1.2 is much cleaner
that prior designs, the rear flange itself is a clean remove with no fussy
connection issues. Anything beyond this simple clean and off it goes, what
is the process for International repairs and CLA's. Sending from Canada what
is the best way re customs etc.?
