Is this true for the 3 and 4? On the 1's and 2's, this screw only
serves to level the rewind crank when folded in. You don't have to
(and shouldn't) remove it to remove the crank. Just hold the shaft
with something that won't damage it (I use a small wooden dowel), and
unscrew the crank.
