I've never met a high-speed film that I liked. Well, Ektar 1000
was pretty amazing stuff, but that's another story.
I had a chat with a friend today who happens to be "in the
industry". I'm not feeling quite so bad now. I needed the
"reality check". I'm going to go ahead and stick with Ilford
film and DD-X developer as long as it can be found. Chances are
that this particular set of technologies will be "the survivor"
no matter what happens.
But for printing, I'm heading another direction.
