I owned both the 100/2 and 90/2 (OK, several of each).
Me, I'm the contrarian. I vastly preferred the 90/2. The 100/2 was, for me,
useless for portraits as it was TOO sharp. The 90/2 and 100/2.8 were
bettter. The 90/2 is just so sweet for what I photograph, particularly
flowers. I miss it. My Nikon 60/2.8 (90/2.8 on the D70/D100) is great, but
not AS great.
