Let me start by saying I have neither died nor joined the foreign legion,
but have just been busy the past few months.
I am going to buy one of my daughters a digital camera and want to keep it
under $500. The C-765 seems like a possible Olympus choice. What opinions are
floating around out there about this or other options. Maximum enlargements
of about 8X10 and mostly capturing photos of her 2 and 4 year old sons as
they grow up. She creates magic with her scrapbooks and many of her images
will
end up there.
I've just purchased a mat cutter and am looking for a supplier that a list
member has used for 8 ply archival mat board (32" X 40" sheets). More
specifically, a supplier that ships board that isn't all banged up when it gets
to
you. Anybody have any experience? This stuff is expensive and even more so
if you can't get four 16 X 20 boards out of each sheet. Need the mats to mat
my OM and e-1 photos. Bill Barber
