Nice photographs. I like in Massachusetts and Loosestrife is everywhere.

I promised yesterday to post some photos of Purple Loosestrife. The
first photo shows the plant in the marshy environment it prefers. The
stalks in the photo range from about 1-2 meters high. Individual
flowers are about 20-25 mm in diameter. View number 3 contains a large
bumble bee (not a honey bee) for scale.
