My C*non G5 takes 3-5 seconds – but it seems to vary. Perhaps it
depends on how much of a rush I am in. The trouble with RAW files is
that the normal EXIF process is omitted, along with all other
processes. I normally note aperture and shutter speed with film
cameras, but I have not bothered with my G5 since the EXIF files
include this information; therefore RAW files spoil my routine.
