Yes, I think I see what you're getting at.
Winsor suggested forgetting about an "advanced digicam" and just going
with a Canon 300D for about the same money as a C-8080. It does look
smallish and Lord knows it's floater light. Curious, if you had no dSLR
or G2 would you consider that as an entry point?
