I'll follow up...
I'm searching the world hoping someday to find either or both the 16/3.5
fisheye and the 8/2.8 fisheye, but only lenses with broken front elements,
trashed mounts (but good glass). I have both these lenses, which both need
the rearmost element groups (those 2 or 3 bits of glass closest to the film
when mounted on the OM body.
As I've indicated, a $ubstantial finder$ fee will be paid for either lens
(or just the right elements...) found at some 'reasonable' cost. And I'm
pretty flexible about reasonable, given my current investment in the lenses
I've got, I can pay a fair amount for the parts and still come out OK, and
I'd be glad to have the opportunity to do so...
The other lens I'd like to have someday is the 90/2.0, and maybe even the
35-80/2.8. But at their current market prices I'm not sure I'd use them
enough to really pursue either... maybe someday I'll be working again, and
then I can buy more good toys <g>.
