I don't know what you mean by that. Are you saying there's not much latitude
in taking your shot? That it's difficult to compensate? If so, I'd have to
disagree. I see the same control over the image I'm taking with regard to film
SLR and digital SLR. maybe a digital P&S doesn't give you much control, but the
BIG advantage digital has, is you can correct the image with software after
you take it to get just about whatever improvement you think it needs. With a
slide, you're stuck with whatever exposure choice you made at the time of
taking
the shot. Unless you scan the slide and try to improve it digitally.
