Yup, I use one all the time when cleaning up the OM's and other items. I
have a somewhat large compressor (60 gal, about 225L) in the garage and
I've run a line from it into the house. That keep the noise to an absolute
minimum, but I do have problems running the compressor when it's below -20C
outside (likely not a problem for you :-). For precision work such as
photographic applications you should double filter the air, once at the
compressor and then once again at the tool. I also use two regulators for
convience, one in the garage and one in the house. It goes without saying
that you shouldn't use an automatic oiler if you plan on using the air for
cleaning. As for pressure, I usually use about 15-20psi, that's usually
enough to remove dust without worrying too much about damaging things.
