Hi Radek,
NICE photos! Wonderful work! Wow, those mountains! Beautiful.
Yes there are Zuikoholic/mountainoholics on this list, I being one of them
in Washington state, U.S.A. I couldn't live in flat country to save my
life.
The Armenian church caught my attention. I had an Armenian friend growing
up, so have always held an interest in their history. That church must
predate the Crusades, eh? And being a fan of "gypsy jazz" legend Django
Reinhardt and flamenco music, the mysterious, persecuted gypsies of Europe
have always fascinated me, so the old gypsy wagon photos are interesting to
see. It's amazing that any of them that old still exist, considering WWII.
You'll have to Google Alpine Lakes Wilderness; Mt. Stuart/Stuart Range; and
Little Annapurna, to see the North Central Washington mountains dear to my
heart. I have some pics of Mt. Stuart, but am not really pleased with them
so haven't scanned them. Must go back and take more lenses, films, filters
(81a, polarizer, etc.), and repeat the shoot this summer in a more serious
endeavor to capture its splendor.
Again, great pics!
Rich
