The lens mount release lever on the bellows is much bigger than on a lens,
Tom, and it does not rotate with the bellows (well it wouldn't, it's fixed
to the camera body!). So rotating the bellows will not help (I assume the
problem is the lack of clearance around the "forehead" of the 10D).
Not sure if your follow on is related to the bellows, but on the off-chance
that it is, don't forget that the bellows themselves do not support auto
diaprhagm operation, but have a manual stopdown lever at the lens board end
of the bellows.
