I am no AG Schnozz, but can I answer that?
I like the 2s/p simply because it's got the best light meetering sytem
ever, with an unsurpassed ergonomics. What I mean is, that the continous
spot meetering is just nice: meter on what you think is where you want your
18% gray, and set apeture/shutter. Then move the spot to important
highlights/shadows, and observe the bargraph -- of course, you know the
lattitude of your film. As a matter of fact, just add the right terminology
to the above, and you're doing a simplified zone system without even
thinking about it...
The Pentax MZ-S (incidentially, my second favorite camera body) has roughly
the same spot-metering mechanism, with a slightly better viewfinder (sorry,
guys, but that's how I feel)
With the OM4, it's a different matter. Just to make a spot metering, you
must move your index finger to a different button. Try THAT with a winder
or motor drive attached. Oops, there goes ergonomics. Also, I tend to
confuse the highlight/shadow buttons (which I never use) with the spot
button. Of course, YMMW and all that ;)
Don't get me wrong, the OM4 is a nice camera. You just asked why I prefered
the 2s/p....well, you really asked why Schnozz prefered it, but I can't
help myself and reply ;)

Well, all nice cameras in their own right ;)
