No, you can't get the number from that code, but maybe the perpetrators
already have your CC number, but can't make an internet purchase without that 3
or
4 digit security number. Someone who works in a store or restaurant could be
feeding these people CC numbers. Used to be more common when there were extra
carbon copies that people just threw in the trash at the point of purchase,
then some worker there goes thru the trash and sends these numbers on to the
crooks.
