That's precisely what stop down metering is - you meter by adjusting the
iris...It sucks...Which is why I simply don't get all the excitement
about using the OM lenses on ANY digital camera that requires that -
whether Oly, Canon, or anything else...Stop down metering is something
everyone was thrilled to get away from abt 40 years ago. ;-)

I hope this hasn't been asked before, but when they say "stop down
metering" does this mean that one will look through a darkened VF just
before taking the photo? Could they use something like the button on
the shift lenses?
I'd love to have the macro capability from the 135/4.5 or 80/4 on an
E-1, but WA aren't really useable.
