I found it slightly harder to focus with faster lenses as well as
standard/wides. I used my 1-8 as a general screen with regular use of a
24, 50 and a 85-250 zoom. My focusing was fine with the telezoom however
the WA and std required greater attention. Also found it rather crap for
low light shots.

Subject: [OM] 1-8 Astrophoto screen and focusing.
Dear All,
I've just purchased a 1-8 astrophoto screen (cheers Ian, its
beauty!) and I'm thinking of using it all of the time instead of the
standard split prism one which I find difficult to use. I was just
wondering though will this impact on focusing performance at all? I
would assume not but I thought I'd check before I go and take a few
photos! Thanks in advance.
All the best,
Gareth.
