Can anybody tell me whether the 1-8 screen is comparable to, or even better
than, the 2-4 screen in terms of brightness and depth of field estimation?
I assumed that, being newer, the 2-4 would be better but I've never tried a
1-8. Are there any problems with using the 1-8 with standard or wide-angle
objectives. Does the centre circle on the 1-8 correspond to the spot
metering area of OM-3s and -4s?
Cheers,
Duncan.

Well, it's recommended for super teles as well, I use it with my OM2n
chrome, which is the body I always put the 300/4.5 on. I have an 8 in my OM4
as well. Good screen.
