I'm not sure how to interpret what they're saying, but you can be quite certain
that the factory would not paint a white lens black. Perhaps some Olympus
repair centre did the work for a customer, but the factory wouldn't ship
out something looking like that. To suggest that the Olympus factory did
the work is misleading.
