Well, Iwert has given the quickie functional difference and Jim has
given the stylistic differences, but there is a bit more.
The intro dates do make sense when you understand that the 3Ti and 4Ti
were updates of the OM-3, 1983, and the OM-4, 1984. The 3 was out of
production for 9 years, but the reintroduction as the 3Ti was still a
fairly limited update of the 3, essentially the same camera inside.
The 3 series have no provision for mirror or aperture lock or pre-fire.

The OM4Ti should be the 3 and the OM3Ti should be the 4?
Stupid question; what are the main differences?
I got the OM4Ti because I thought it was the last of OM production,
Now I got to trade up?
